A weekend to learn and connect
The Fall Retreat ran from 7–9 October 2016 on Darrell’s Island. In its sixth year, the programme invited people to connect, learn and have fun, whether through stories, dancing, dominoes, swimming, painting or time to reflect.
Participant-led breakout sessions, hair braiding, bocce, fishing and fireside sharing were part of the experience. Attendees were encouraged to share a skill, story, poem, song or anecdote. Workshops lasted 1.5–2 hours, with three blocks and up to nine options.
